Thayne Larson in the Piano Shop

Thayne is catching the bug to work with dad in the piano shop. I caught a photo of him removing hammer butts to be pored in preparation for new hammers to be installed. ...At least, that was the technical explanation that I got from his trainer/father, Brigham. When I asked Thayne what he was doing, his remarkable and entertaining personality came through in shining colors. His words explaining his day in the piano shop doing piano restoration, "I am like the crime boss ripping out the guts as I torture this piano into submission." Always the creative one...
