Technique, technique, technique!

Technique is a super important part of our piano lessons here at the Utah Piano Conservatory! Just like an athlete has to do basic exercises to have strong muscles, great pianists have to learn the patterns and exercises that will let them play any piece they want. Our Piano Academy uses a detailed technique chart to take students from very beginner to college-level technique. To help parents and students practicing at home, we've created this series of "technique sheet videos" where one of our program directors demonstrates how to do each exercise in the first three levels.
