The Morrill Family Piano! Heirloom Piano Restoration Giveaway Entry!

Brigham Larson Pianos

My mom studied piano pedagogy at Utah State. She was always playing the piano during my childhood. She also taught piano in the home. I was one of her students, as were my 3 siblings. She has a heavy influence of the kind of music I listen to today. "My great grandpa bought the piano for my grandma’s older sister, who didn’t really practice too much. Because lessons were expensive and grandma’s older sister wasn’t practicing, he didn’t want to pay for lessons for my grandma either. She begged and begged and he eventually let her. The rest is history as they say. She played piano for church and community events all the time and would transcribe to a different key on the fly if the key the music was written in didn’t complement the vocal range of the singers. This piano was passed down to my mom, who taught her four children and now is teaching her oldest grandchild.
