Long time music lover, everything from classical to rock. I was actually ispired and wanted to learn to play piano when at a young age i heard the pianon part of the beatles let it be. My parents let me take lessons for a few years, just to learn the basics. Then highschool jobs took over, and after full time job, and learning guitar took over. Now that i have a piano again it has reignited the piano learning once again and ignited a passion to learn how to fix and tune and take care of one even as a novice player and learning technician.

The piano was purchased by a piano teacher in the 20s. The piano itself has taught many children the joy of music and was very well taken care of by the teacher in southern Illinois. Many years later, possibly late 40'S maybe the early 50's, the piano teacher retired and sold the piano to my family. The piano stayed in southern illinois til the early 80's, when my grandfather brought it up to northern Illinois where it landed at my parents house for me to learn on. The piano moved again to my mother's in the mid 90's where it stayed til it moved again this year to my house. After having a tuner come out and check on it. After a pitch raise and a tuning, i began replacing many broken parts and replacing some of the felt. The piano itself is very playable, just needs a lot more life put back into it still.
