Pizza + Pianos = a GREAT Fundraiser!
Do you enjoy eating pizza? Do you want to do good by giving the gift of music? Then your lucky day has come! We are going to be sponsoring a fundraiser for the Mundi Project during the week of August 6-9 at Pizza Pie Cafe in Provo, with a UPC family night on August 6th from 7-9 p.m. It’s going to be a fun night, and you don’t have to do anything to participate except EAT. Who’s in??
So you want to participate in the fundraiser but you’ve never heard of the Mundi Project? Well, this is the most important part! The Mundi Project is a non-profit organization based in Salt Lake City. Its goal is to help youth (and the community in general) gain access to pianos, music education, and the arts. To accomplish this goal, they have established two amazing programs: the Piano Bank and Harmony Hub. The Piano Bank is a program in which they receive piano donations and then give them to youth or public spaces in need. In the Harmony Hub program, volunteers teach free music lessons to low-income families around Salt Lake City. These volunteers and faculty understand that studying music has the power to change the lives of youth, especially those who may not have many opportunities to change their lives. Definitely a CRITICAL cause!
Your next question is that this fundraiser must be more complicated than it sounds, right? There really isn’t much more to it than eating pizza! You just need one thing to make sure that your meal at Pizza Pie Cafe gets donated: a donation card. We will be distributing the cards at the Utah Piano Conservatory and in the gallery at Brigham Larson Pianos, as well as other places yet to be announced (watch Facebook and Instagram!). Just take the card with you when you meet us for dinner, and make sure the cashier staples it to your receipt. And that’s it!
We are so excited to make a difference with you! Call us at 385-219-0774 or email [email protected] to claim your card—they’re going to go fast!
