Formal Piano Academy recitals are designed to encourage students to reach a high standard of musicianship and performance; students must have their solo piece memorized, polished, and performance ready to be nominated to play in the formal Academy recital. In addition, each Academy student completes ten practice performances of their piece before the recital, helping them feel confident and calm when they perform.
