Our Latest Restoration! 1903 Kranich and Bach
We just put on the finishing touch on this piano this morning! We are finished with the 1903 Kranich and Bach upright piano. The first thing really unique on this piano is the music stand. Also, the veneer is just beautiful! Third, the pedals are the original, but we re-plated them to look brand new again.
The piano now has a new decal, which is a replica of the original. We completed a partial rebuild on the piano, which is a massive undertaking. It involves new hammers, dampers, shanks, bridle straps, leather and cloth and felt throughout, as well as new keys, sharps and key bushings.
