We're so excited to honor Tessa Greene as our Piano Academy Student of the Month for November!
Tessa is 10 years old and is in 5th grade in her home school studies. Besides the piano, some of her favorite hobbies are reading, writing stories, baking, and doing crafts. Tessa already has her own dog-walking business and when she grows up she wants to be, in her own words, "an entrepreneur or a fashion designer or a baker or an actress or musician."
Tessa has been taking lessons here for just a few months and has already performed in her first recital! We love that Tessa is such a hard worker and doesn't give up, even when she's doing something difficult. Her favorite part of playing the piano is when she gets a whole song memorized - as she told her mom, "It feels good that I can make beautiful music!"
Last but not least, Tessa is a great example of combining our two Conservatory pillars of talent and testimony. Tessa is always kind to those around her, loves sharing her talents at Family Home Evening or with her friends, and is a great example of being Christlike. We're so glad to have her here at the Piano Academy!
