Registration is now open for Kindermusik for the Young Child (ages 4.5-7), piano preparatory music lessons, taught by me - Karmel Larson. Your child will LOVE this whole child approach to music education. Your child will feel of my love for them and my love for music and teaching. You will feel of my love for you and my desire to not just teach in class but to mentor you and your child through the early stages of musical introduction into formal lessons, inside class and outside of class via e-mails, ongoing support and our active Facebook community.
Kindermusik for the Young Child is the perfect place for your budding musician to develop a strong musical foundation by learning the concepts, language, notation, and vocabulary of music, as well as the history and works of its greatest composers. Over the course of each four 15-week sessions, your child will explore rhythm and musical symbols, engage in activities that focus on singing and vocal development, and practice playing instruments like the glockenspiel, dulcimer, and recorder with an emphasis on piano playing readiness.
We are going to have so much fun together!!!
Classes are 50 minutes in length, and parents are invited to participate in the final activities. Kindermusik home materials allow your family to continue the learning and fun at home with books, CDs, instruments, take home sheets and more.
Demo days are now being scheduled for December 28, 29, 30 and 31, each day at 4pm with regular classes starting on January 4th.
